Nestled in the heart of Wilmington, CA, Pinoy Big Mouth is a vibrant Filipino restaurant that brings authentic tastes of the Philippines right to your neighborhood. If you’re seeking a flavorful adventure through traditional Filipino cuisine, this is truly a culinary gem worth exploring.
From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm, friendly atmosphere that perfectly complements the hearty, rich dishes served. The scent of smoky barbecue wafts through the air, inviting you to indulge in their famous Filipino-style grilled meats. Whether it’s the perfectly marinated Inasal Chicken or the tantalizing “tusoktusok” — a variety of flavorful skewers — every bite bursts with bold, mouthwatering flavors that instantly transport you to the vibrant streets of Manila.
One standout favorite is the Goto, a comforting rice porridge thick with savory goodness, simmered to perfection. Customers like Monet Montclaire describe these dishes as “super loaded and ridiculously delicious,” praising the generous portions that make each meal both satisfying and memorable. For those craving the street food experience, Pinoy Big Mouth offers an interactive twist where you can BBQ your meats right at your table on a heated grill. This not only ensures utmost freshness but also turns dining into an engaging, communal event—perfect for family celebrations or casual nights out.
The menu is naturally diverse, catering to those eager to explore Filipino barbecue staples like isaw (grilled chicken intestines) and dugo (blood sausage), both highly recommended by longtime local Jericho Padilla for their authenticity and reasonable pricing. Complement your meal with classic side delights such as lumpia or sip on refreshing gulaman drinks to round out your experience.
Beyond the food, what makes Pinoy Big Mouth truly special is the community vibe. The staff, including owners like Tony and team members Onie, Angeline, and Eric, are praised for their genuine warmth and attentiveness, creating an inviting atmosphere reminiscent of a family gathering. Regulars like Popoy consider it their go-to spot for southern California Filipino fare, appreciating the welcoming environment and the added bonus of a karaoke room nearby for those wanting to extend the fun.
Many patrons share a personal connection to the restaurant, describing it as a nostalgic return to home-cooked flavors and family traditions. Maria “Vida” Trinidad - Flores reflects on how the atmosphere and food bring back cherished memories from her childhood in the Philippines, enhanced by a chill and friendly environment.

Delightful surprise. It was our 1st time there. Found them in a Google search Street food with a twist. You can BBQ your food yourself. Such a fun concept. We ordered our food to go. Casual friendly atmosphere. They even have a karaoke room in an adjacent building! Grilled pork was very tasty. Will be going back.

The goto is delicious as well as their grill foods. This is our go-to pinoy food in the south bay. No need to go to LA downtown anymore. Tony the owner is also super nice and friendly. Plus they have karaoke too!

I grew up in the Philippines and move here in the US when I was 12 yrs old, so coming to this spot is pretty nostalgic for me. I love the food first off and the price. I love the atmosphere and bring back memories of being home with my family. Everyone is chill friendly, and they even have karaoke, which I also love.

Thank you so much to Onie, Angeline, and Eric for running the best Philippino BBQ spot around! My boyfriend and I come here often on late night food runs and we are always greeted with kind smiles and comfort food. Get an order of lumpia and the gulaman drink, the balut is also perfectly prepared. They have a large selection of fresh meats to BBQ while you sit around the heated grill with calming jazz playing. Could also be a cozy, cute date night spot aswell.

First time I ever came here and the service was out of this world! Literally the best service I’ve received in a long time! The food was fantastic and freshly made! The people that were dining there were also fantastic, they helped me navigate the menu while I was waiting to order and made it super inviting. I felt like I was visiting someone’s party BBQ, the quality and vibes were 10/10! I’d highly recommend going here to everyone!
